■コース内容
The Master of Commerce in Business is a generic modern business agree that enables graduates to study units across a range of disciplines. To equip graduates for modern business practices, the MCom in Business promotes depth and breadth in business studies through a program of self-selected core and elective units. The degree allows students to acquire an interdisciplinary understanding of buisiness with a concentration in at least one major area of business activity.
At ICMS, MCom students can specialise in Management or Hospitality and Tourism. Alternatively, other majors are available at the Macquarie Ryde campus, with specialist units available at ICMS.
Students enrolling in Master programs conducted by ICMS will experience Macquarie University's and the College's worldwide reputation for academic excellence and internationalism at all levels.
To hold a quality Masters degree is a distinct advantage in the business world today. While it is important that you are proficient in a particular business discipline, it is also necessary to understand the interrelationships that exist among all core business areas.
Graduates find careers in; human resource management, marketing management, brand and product management, customer acquisition, sales management, operations and consulting.
■入学資格
Applicants are required to have completed a three-year business related bachelor degree from a recognised higher education institution and achieved a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 2.70 (out of 4.00).
Students without an adequate business foundation in their bachelor degree are required to complete a four-unit graduate certificate program before enrolling in the Master program.
